The three planned Theater Information Advantage Detachments will each start with 65 soldiers, but the TIADs will be tailored over time to serve the specific demands of Indo-Pacific Command, European Command, and Army Cyber Command.
Lockheed Martin and Raytheon had been closing watching the Army's Lower-Tier Future Interceptor program, but the cancelation of that effort comes as little surprise, company officials said.
The A4 will be integrated into the Integrated Battle Command System, the Army's contribution to JADC2.

"We want to get vendors on contract. We want to try something out. We want to do it under the auspices of a formal program that, you know, we can show the Congress that we've got a different approach,” Gabe Camarillo, under secretary of the Army, said.
